Ellis Flowers

I got married this past summer and used Ellis Flowers for my entire floral needs and experienced nothing but SUPERIOR service and they used only highest quality of product!!!

I was shocked to hear a bride was displeased, as I have nothing but praise for the designers at Ellis Flowers and have recommended them to two of my friends that are getting married next summer, and they have booked with them as well. The woman at Ellis were young, full of energy and creative ideas, no idea was to challenging for them to create.

We had a relatively large wedding and the designers were able to get such a great deal on my choice of flowers because they were buying in bulk they told me. Every price break they got along the way, they passed down to my husband and myself. We had 300 people at our wedding with a total of 30 centerpieces, full bridal party flowers as well as hall decorations and the designers at Ellis were able to create all those pieces and stay well within our budget, while throwing a few great surprises in for us along the way.

I just came across this post as I am looking for a florist to do my sisters wedding. This is interesting to me because Ellis Flowers did my wedding in July (Canada Day) and they were amazing! The girl (I think her name was Natalie) was very pleasant to deal with and so creative with suggestions to match my budget (we weren't exactly "high-end" - we had a big wedding and a small budget). Ellis did our centerpieces, my bouquet, and the bouteniers for our families. They threw in free delivery as well and I had a coupon that I got in the mail that had expired but they honoured it anyway. We have been talking to them about my sisters wedding too because we were so happy. I would recommend them to anyone - they are also young people so they understand weddings better than some of the other florists that I had met with.

ELLIS FLOWERS were responsible for my flowers this past fall and there were several things that they missed that i was very specific about. My bouquet was not stable and several flowers (3 roses) fell out of it while i was getting to and even one came out WHILE i was walking down the aisle. The foliage and look of the bouquet and corsages was also something completely lost in translation to them. The WORST part of this entire ordeal is that when i told them after the wedding (which is the only thing you can do) they said they had trouble believing me and were completely unapologetic and in fact, insulting. They do not honour customer service once they have your money. I had to make sure my bouquet wasn't in any of my pictures - they took no responsibility for compromising an important aspect of a very important day. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE TO GET IT RIGHT - DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! They might be cheaper but you really pay for it in the end.
