Avoid this florist!!!
a) the call to let us know about the order was 8 days late. The plant was received 12 days after the order.
b) the florist had 3 messages left, none were returned. The voice mail does not identify the business.
c) no one was there to give me the plant during the pre-determined time frame as well as during posted store hours. I can't imagine how long it would take to get it if I had opted for delivery rather than pickup.
d) no card given, no blooms (blooming and green plant in a basket was what my friends ordered)
c) florist said she would call at the end of the day and give me the message on the card. She never did. She said "sympathy" plant although the event I was receiving the plant for was over a year ago so I knew that would not have been the message from my friends. It was in fact "thinking of you" but only got that by calling FTD.
d) the plant looked nothing like the picture, in fact, not one flower was in the basket. There was no bow, just 3 plants stuck in dirt. In the illustration online there are approximately 9 flowers visible.
e) the florist, when asked about a card was rude and obviously not organized when she could not even find the order.

So many calls (3 to florist, 2 to customer service FTD), 3 trips to florist shop, poor customer service all around, a product that looks not even remotely similar to picture (approximately 9 blooms in picture, not 1 in mine.....it will be hard to convince me that Blooming and Green Plant in a Basket should not have at least one bloom :(), while I am personally dealing with a difficult time.

I will never accept any product from this florist. If there was a 0/5 rating, I would give it.

Warning********Terrible*********
I give this florist ZERO Stars. Their website shows teleflora arrangements..What they send does not resemble the photos in the slightest! I ordered a violet/plant basket for my Granny and they sent fresh cut flowers in a vase..That does not qualify as a similiar substitution. I called & they said "sorry"..offered no explanation..said they would send out the violet basket..as of yet still no new flowers.I asked the lady if she wanted my order conf# she said no..I had also ordered flowers the same day for my Aunt 3 days ahead of time they arrived 5 days later..half-dead and looked nothing like the teleflora bouquet I selected off their website. They have lost my business..0 for 2..Dishonest Company

DONT USE THIS PLACE
0 star!. The worst customer service I have ever received. What I ordered and what was delivered were two totally different things. It was the ugliest bouquet, not delivered ontime, the owner hung up on me, she has been reported to BBB on 5 occasions and has never once replied to them, charged my visa 2 months after the fact, shes rude and its a shyster business. Says she represents 1-800 flowers and they dont even have her as a vendor FRAUDSTER

unhappy florist from out of town
i ordered a fruite and easter basket .2 days later they arrived ,very poorly done. where still waiting for a replacement. it's been 3 week.they wouldnt take phone calls,or return them. will never deal with them again.

Most unprofessional person iv'e dealt with
my husband ordered a beautiful bouqete for my birthday while he was out of town however when they arrived they didn't look anything like the picture they were smaller then the picture,had very little color some flowers were broken some leaves were torn and another was turning brown.needless to say it was ugly.I called her to let her know and she said she would get back to me finally she did and said they were dropped and i would get a new one.however she thought she had called another customer and when i inquired further about the broken flowers and browning and tearing on the leaves she said i never mentioned that before i was a lier and to never contact her again.i give her a big 0 for workmanship and profesionalism.

not impressed
i ordered flowers from this so called florist for my wifes birthday, it took 27hrs to deliver,the flowers were squished and tore,over charged me,plus never recieved the teddy bear or balloons that i ordered with them,do not order flowers from this scam artist.0 stars.....

Dishonest Business
I ordered flowers over the phone. The flowers were delivered but I was overcharged on my credit card. I contacted them on 3 times and each time they said they would reverse the charge - needless to say they never did.

NOTE: they are rated a "F" by the Better Business Bureau.

Never delivered and never refunded!
My husband who was serving in Afghanistan, ordered flowers from here for his Mom for Mothers day. They were never delivered and when I called she came up with some lame excuse. I gave her the opportunity to remedy her error and deliver the flowers a few days later for his Moms birthday.......still no show! After many many phone calls to her and downright lies from her, in frustration I gave up. She even went as far as to tell me to "Listen to the machine" (over the phone) doing the money transfer into my account! Because she stalled me in my efforts to get a refund by not answering her phone and making me call so many times, and waiting for the transaction to show up in my account, I was unable to even get my bank to cancel the transaction! I have reported her to the BBB.........she is a disgrace to the business!

flowers by janice is been serving edmonton ab for over 20 years i love them they have a new location on jasper amazing stuff an beautiful for weddings ask for noel she is amazing and very friendly .. who ever is writing these bad stuff abouth flowers by janice are just asking for trouble

Glad you had great service but when she didn't deliver flowers and didn't refund my money........I have a right to complain! I'm not asking for trouble, I'm just stating the facts, I've never had such bad service for a company!

My family from USA ordered 'mothers'day' flowers.this florist phones to sya that flowers will be delivered that afternoon. till evening no flowers were delivered and when I phoned in the there was no answer and their -Mail-box' was full so could not leave any message.

Same story next day. Late in evening a delivery service guy delivered a bunch of flowers. No phone calls, no apologies.

Flowers did not last even 24 hours. I advised my family not to trust this company and ask for a refund..!!

Wish I had seen previous reviews of Flowers by Janice
I wish I could rate this as ZERO stars. On May 21 I had ordered a sympathy arrangement for a funeral. I ordered from Flowers by Janice in the past and had no problems. This order was made using their online service on the website. I received an email confirmation. Today I discovered that the flowers were never received. When I called Flowers by Janice, the phone was out of service. The website is no longer functioning. Flowers by Janice is OUT OF BUSINESS - thank goodness!
Shameful that they have treated their customers so poorly and obviously needed to get out of the industry.
(I checked with the credit card company - no charges were made to my credit card.)

VERY bad customer service
We ordered flowers for a wedding and with 10 min before the wedding, she calls us to inform us she did not make the flowers, but she COULD rush us out a bouquet.... drive is 1/2 from wedding ..... HOW could she make a bouquet and get it there in 10 min???? Then when we went for our money back, we were asked to come back some other time cause she was busy and we were being an INCONVIEIENCE to her.... how inconvienient was NO FLOWERS for my daughter's wedding. Finally she SUPPOSEDLY refunded our credit card, but only 1/2 the money, then when I went back she ordered me out of the store and threatened to call the cops since I was harassing her for NO reason.... VERY poor service and attitude. To top it off when I was there on thre Friday, she said she was still working on Mothers day flowers for the PREVIOUS weekend????

Don't use this company
I purchase flowers often, and thought I would try out Flowers by Janice. Don't. The flowers were supposed to be delivered by 4:30pm today. It's now 5:50. I can't get a hold of the flower shop and the mailbox is full so can't leave a message. I will never use them again and will ensure any charges on my credit card are reversed.

Worst Service Ever
Our company ordered flowers for a funeral that we were attending. We ordered the flowers offline titled "white garden" they looked very beautiful and were very appropriate so phoned and ordered them explaining they were for a funeral. When they arrived they were in a pink vase half of the plants in the picture were not there and there were colorful floweres throughout it, to top it off there was a large red heart in the arrangement. We went to return them to see if they could be fixed. Upon entering to store we opened up the flowers and explained (nicely) that they were for a funeral and were wondering if there was anyway we could change the arrangment. She told us that in all her years of working in a flower shop she had never heard of anyone taking flowers to a funeral. She then started yelling at us informing us she did not want customers like us and to get out and leave it on the counter. When I asked if we would be refunded she replied that we were treating her like and idiot and that we didn't trust her and that she never wanted to see us again there.

We left very upset - and felt they were were unfairly mistreated. I wanted everyone to know that ordering flowers from Janice is a mistake and to do so at your own risk.
