Was easy to install

We installed Quickstyle cork flooring June 2010 in our open floor dining room/living room. We have big windows that let natural sunlight in and, in less than 11 months, the color has dramatically faded on a few rows closest to the windows, so much that we can now see the darker outlines of our furniture. Nothing on the product specs advised us of such potential fading. A customer service agent from Quickstyle headquarters in Montréal (Quebec) told us that "it is normal" since it is a "natural" product and that the worst fading occurs within the first 10-12 months. The warranty does not apply on this. He even recommended that we change the placing of our furniture to "even out" the color......... After spending close to $4,000 for the entire house, we are sorely disapointed and DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. AND, that is after we had to return the equivalent of 6 boxes out of 42 of defective planks, and even then, some others with imperfections were said to be "normal", so we had to select where to install these "imperfections" that we had to keep (corners, under furniture...).
So, potential buyers, BEWARE!!!!!

Dispite assurances from their website and the retailer who sold this flooring to us it clearly can not stand up to the normal wear and tear in a home with pets. Within two weeks of installation our cork floor was scratched and looked horrible. Although we immediately contacted the retailer, who informed us that we had to contact Quickstyle ourselves, this issue has not been rectified in 10 months. I strongly suggest you do not buy this product.
