Being in Barrie for over 26 years, Grand Floors Ltd. knows how important it is to provide our customers with a full service package. We started our business in Europe (Poland) in 1978, learning our skills from the best craftsmen in the European market. After immigrating to Canada in 1987, we opened our new business immediately and called it Grand Floors Ltd. We continued to learn how to provide the best service for the Canadian market place based on our European experience. From 1987 to 1990 our division offered services for southern Ontario, mostly the Greater Toronto area, Barrie & Simcoe County.

These services included installation, sanding & finishing new floors and also re-sanding & refinishing old floors & stairs. We became specialists of commercial water-based finishes.

After opening a store in Barrie (May) 1990, we expanded our services to a new division that supplies pre-finished hardwood flooring and accessories. In the mid 90′s, we added pre-finished trim, mouldings and pre-finished stairs. Beginning in the new century, we’ve expanded yet again, adding to our selection, other floor coverings.

Grand Floors Ltd. offers both residential & commercial markets the following supplies and services: a variety of solid Hardwood Floors, Laminates, Cork, Tile, Vinyl, Trim and Mouldings, Custom Prefinished Wooden Stairs, Prefinished Pine Flooring plus many accessories & materials for DIY clientele.
