Two words if you are considering Carpet Emporium; "STAY AWAY".
Unaccountable, do not stand behind their products or services, appalling customer service. Four weeks in and we are still dealing with a botched back splash install on our $80,000 kitchen renovation.
Update to this issue; July 4, 2017 (7 weeks in).
Carpet Emporium has decided not to complete the job or fix the numerous issues with our back-splash. Basically they are walking away and leaving us with a disastrous back-splash installation in our kitchen. Incredibly unprofessional. My guess is that they realized the back-splash needs to come down in order to fix all of the outstanding issues, and they are not prepared to do that, nor do they have the expertise. So we are now faced with paying additional money to someone else to take it down and re-install the back-splash. A very sad situation, and both myself and wife are devastated over this. Carpet Emporium apparently did not appreciate this review; so instead of stepping up and offering some options to have this issue go away, they are dropping out. My only hope is that this review will be noticed by other potential customers when making their installation decisions and take their business to a more reputable company who actually have a passion for what they offer, because Carpet Emporium does not.
Purchased flooring for our whole house. All the installers were great. We had one cracked hardwood board and they came and fixed it the day after we called. Floors look beautiful
BEWARE : Stay away from carpet emporium. If they don't get the job done correctly forget about them coming back. They don't return calls and don't give a dam as long as they have your money.

Gary was our salesperson. Too smarmy, too pushy, using scare tactics to secure our purchase, he should be selling used cars. This was our second installation by the same company/installer. I personally removed all of the baseboards and internet cables, took off closet doors. We have three 'swag' lights from ceiling. This Dumb.A> decided to try and hang the cables that were on the ground up on the ceiling hooks and the whole thing fell down. Plaster ceiling. What has happened to , sorry I will tell the store and they will call you, a) offer to try and fix it , b) offer to send someone who knows something about drywall/plaster repair,c) see if the store can offer a credit from the cost of carpet and install or wait for it...to offer an apology
The staff at Carpet Emporium were a pleasure to deal with. We dealt with Carlo who was knowledgeable, pleasant and extremely helpful in helping us choose the right carpet. Due to issues with other contractors we had to delay our install twice. The staff was extremely accommodating and rescheduled without any difficulties. The install was completed this week and I am thrilled with the end product. They even provided a few "extras" at no additional cost. I will definitely recommend Carpet Emporium to anyone looking to purchase new flooring....thanks and keep up the good work!
This is our second time using Carpet Emporium and highly recommend them. I had two people at work refer me to them when I asked around about where to get flooring. We've had them install carpet, linoleum and laminate and all were well done.

We had ceramic tile and hardwood installed. They did a really nice job. We have also had carpet installed by them in the past, and we were pleased with that as well.
I contracted this business to install a cork floor in my kitchen, hall and bath. They did not remove the existing floor (did not advise it necessary), as a result my refrigerator would not fit under the cupboard (I asked the salesman if this would be a problem beforehand, and he said 'he didn't think so')I had to pay a carpenter to remove the cupboard and replace it with a bookself that he built for me. The installer removed the toilet from the bathroom and set it on my hardwood floors on towels, then said when he was done that the floor was now too high so I would have to call a plumber to replace the toilet seal (I was told he would do it). The plumber came the next day and re-installed the toilet at an additional cost. Then I looked at my hardwood floors, which were now cupping from the water that leaked from the toilet. Also, to fit the flooring under the door frames, the installer cut every door frame about 10 inches from the floor, removed the pieces to accomodate the floor then stuck them back on with one nail. They are loose and look ridiculous. I am saving the money to replace the floor and my door frames...it looks terrible. As someone who goes in to purchase a product and its "professional" installation service, I am obligated to pay for these things up front. I wish we could expect the same obligation from the retailer. There wwere many other small things that together make this floor look like a DIY project rather tha a professional installation.
I couldn't be happier with my installation. They had a great selection, prices, and very friendly salesmen. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
I recently used Carpet Emporium to remove old carpet and install a high quality laminate. Their service was terrible, installation was incomplete - areas of the floor were not finished, laminate not installed within closets as requested, flooring was loose and there are now gaps between boards, and even the quality of the so-called "high quality" laminate is questionable. They made a lot of errors, there was no communication between the installers, sales person and their office, and when I tried to address issues as they arose, the business owners were condescending and would not accept responsibility for the work they did. Additionally, after assuring me when first placing the order that they would clean up after themselves, they didn't clean up after themselves at all and it was a huge mess as they cut the flooring within the condo unit. I regret using them and would never use them again or refer them to anyone. Be Warned!

If this is a legitimate review (which I don't think it is because I had a salesman in saying he would remove it if we advertised with him) you have my full attention. It was Ms. Taillon who spoke with me on the phone when I called your company and it was she who responded on behalf of your company thereafter.
Even though I asked for someone to review the work and address the outstanding issues, no one from your company followed up. No one from your company could even be bothered to come out and review the work in person. I had to contact you, and your associate’s (Ms. Taillon) response to me was, and I quote, “sometimes women are more detailed about things than men”.
It is unfortunate that your offer to personally come out and inspect the work has only come after I reviewed your company online.
