Dr. Steckman is a board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist and has expertise in arrhythmia management. He treats a variety of diagnoses including arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, PVCs, syncope, pacemakers and defibrillators. He trained at New York University as a chief resident. Dr. Steckman then did cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology training at the University of Colorado, Denver where he specialized in advanced ablation techniques and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. Currently, he is the Cardiac Electrophysiology lab director at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. He also is involved in research activity on the topics of atrial fibrillation and cardiac sarcoidosis. In his spare time, he can be found on the tennis courts or cooking with his kids.
