My experience at the Whitby Access Storage at Dundas street have always been a pleasant experience, thanks to Lindsay, who is such a wonderful manager at the store. He is always a pleasure to meet, with such a bright smile, greeting customers and ensuring the best customer service is provided at all times. My experience is surely elevated due to his presence and support. I wish him and Access Storage continued success and keep supporting the residents of Whitby with such a pivotal experience

Great facility, EXCELLENT customer service — I am so glad I chose Access Storage! Lindsay and his team made it all so easy. I just upgraded my unit, as our move is one month away, and I am so impressed with the facility, the helpful staff, and the ease of use.

Very awesome service! I had an excellent experience thanks to Lindsay at Access Storage! I came in just before closing, and he still took the time to assist me with a very pleasant and professional attitude. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, and I truly appreciated his patience and kindness at the end of a long day. Great experience! The staff is helpful and friendly, and the storage areas are clean and easy to get to. The halls are well lit. The only downside - and it's a very minor one - is that not all the units are lit, so if you have one that isn't you need to bring your own source of light if you want to see what's in the boxes you've offloaded there.

I've never experienced such amazing customer service! The team was helpful, warm and inviting. Lindsay went above and beyond with his help, guidance and hospitality as we moved into our unit. I can't say enough to really capture how amazing he was.

We’ve recently rented a 10' x 10' unit at Access Storage to manage the overflow of home furnishings as we get ready to move. Having a conveniently located facility in town with competitive pricing made it an easy choice. What really sealed the deal was the exceptional service from the staff. They were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—taking the time to clearly explain the rental process, rules, security measures, and even ways to save on costs. Their support gave us real peace of mind, confirming that we made the right decision for storing our belongings. The unit itself is spotless—no signs of dampness, water damage, or any odours. Huge thanks to Amanda and the team for helping reduce the stress during this important transition.

Wonderful people. Heated and have trollies so you don’t have to carry anything. And hours are 6am-10pm so I was able to go after or before work easily!

Smooth transaction from beginning to end. Every time I came to the building, the man (sorry…remembering names is not my super power) in the office/store was consistently friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful, making the customer service exceptional. Storage unit itself was clean and accessible. Prices were competitive.

**update, I'm going to have to change my review because I'm actually rather annoyed with this location now. I am here at least once a day because I run a buisness and I keep my stock in my unit because my house just wont fit it. The washroom is never freely accessible without having to ask to use it. I'm sorry but I shouldnt have to be embarrassed about a small blatter and feel like a bug having to ask all the time. And the they keep a constant lock on. And not only that. I was completely satisfied with my unit in the first place, but I had noticed that the side panels were folding in because of screws that came loose. Bow I have a unit that is more in the way for everyone else because I'm constantly rearranging and I'm in too much of a main drag, and the door is too heavy for me to lift, rather then a door that swings open I now have a bay door that is hard on my back to keep pulling up.

Told me I'm not allowed to run a business out of my unit but I see at least 4 others doing the same.

Could use some improvements

I had a fantastic experience at Access Storage. Lyndsey and Amanda were both amazing—super helpful and friendly. The units are very accessible, with plenty of carts available for easy shuttling of your belongings. While it's not 24-hour access, the 10:00 p.m. cutoff is still convenient and seems to be the standard among storage facilities. Overall, I highly recommend Access Storage for anyone looking for a reliable and accessible storage solution.

Storage area outside units is clean as well as the units themselves. We have never had an issue with dealing with the staff. In particular Lindsay has been very helpful when we have needed assistance. The only downside is the cost is a bit higher than other facilities. Even with that we are happy with our unit and the fact that it is inside.

You are not at all “SMART” if you “STOP” here to store your items. This company begs for its 5 star reviews when you first rent your unit. Pathetic. Well that’s the only time they will get any positive feedback. They have screwed up on things with me so many times but never an apology never mind a discount or credit for their errors and negligence. Changed units but they never changed my password for entry. I had no idea and was denied entry for 2 days. Did I get credit for those 2 days? Nope! But they are on you like glue if you get to the office 1 hour past payment time! Oh yeah! They are charging you that late fee! This is not a company that cares about their customers. I once waited in the snow and cools for their 24 hour service to respond to why I couldn’t get in the doors. . Finally had to gain entrance from the other side of the building where someone else was exiting. Still had to drag all my things through the place. These guys are just buckle and dime guys. Just grabbing your $

So far, I am very impressed

+ booking on the phone was easy
+ there was a thorough explanation of what was available and the pricing
+ I was given a promotion to reduce the cost, without even to ask or find one myself
+ the worker was very good at collecting my information and making sure it was correct-- no misunderstandings
+ staff in the office walked me to my locker, explained access, even showed me how to use the PIN to get in, and helped me with a lock when I forgot one.

My locker is going to be closed in a month, so I'm not sure what that will be like. But I'm very pleased right now and if I needed another locker, it would be set up with them.

This storage unit is very clean, organized and very easy to use. The staff is friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience. Thank you.
