Ethos the Spa, London Reviews (2)
My friend and I booked 2 spa treatments at Ethos the spa a few weeks ago and we were so excited to go. At the time we booked the appointment the computer was down, however, they took our information, our credit card # and called the next day to confirm our date and time. We both took vacation time from work, paid a $7 parking fee at the Ceeps and headed to Ethos for our relaxing afternoon!
Well, reality is they never officially put us back in the system. We arrived at the spa to be told they had no availability and no computer record of our appointment. The receptionist did find us written down in the log book and apologized to us for the error. We were shocked!!! We advised the employee that we felt we should be compensated for their error (I mean they would have charged US a cancellation fee!). The owner called back to say they would throw in an express pedicure.
We decided to think about it, and returned her call a few days later. We left a message and have not heard back from her since. Not very spa like if you ask me!! To top it all off....they charged us on our Visa!!!!! I was shocked. I have left a message demanding a refund immediately, and have yet to hear from the owner. BEWARE when considering any service from Ethos. I have heard lots of bad stuff since my experience...such as pushy product sales...telephone soliciting if its been a while since your last treatment....and rushed service. What a disappointment!

My experience at Ethos the spa was just amazing, I walked in not knowing what to expect, my hjusband had bought me a gift certificate for mother's day.
The girl at the front desk was amazing, she acknowledged me right away and with courtesy and a smile attended to me.
I have not experienced such a fabulous service in a spa before.
I had heard good things about Ethos but had to see it for my self.
When it was time to go in and have my service done Lida came and introduced her self and asked me to follow her. We entered the room and I was very impressed with the decor, I thought I had traveled through the ages back to the ancient times of Mesopotamia or Greece.
I can seat here and write about my experience at Ethos for hours but I just want to congratulate the owner, which I found out later that her name was Katina, for the great job she's done in that space and the great staff that she has managed to hire.
I've already told all my friends about my experience and I will tell them again, I hope they continue to deliver excellent service and the other spas and businesses should follow their example.
