Bought a new gas fired dryer last year at a cost of appx.$2400. full price no negotiation. Tennant's complained their clothes were still wet. Called service, they said the evacuation pipe probably needed cleaning, then they said the back of the machine was to close to the wall and to pull it out a bit. We did all this, same results. They came over increased the amount of time to dry, same result. Charged me a service call. Finally called a competitor and within a short time he said he knew what the problem was, he ordered the part, a few days later came over, installed the part, guess what??
Everything is working perfectly. I paid the two service calls plus the part for a fairly new machine.
I dealt with this company for many years before and was very satisfied. It has been under new ownership in the past two years and I fail to see the same customer appreciation or dedication to satisfactory service.
