Donna Bella Laser Medspa: Jiyon Hwang-Ki, M.D.

Not by choice but because of limited options of health professionals who can speak Korean, my parent meets with Jiyon Hwang-ki. For the past years, she has very rude and disrespectful to my parent such as being very late to the appointment times and rushing through the diagnosis without asking any questions or concerns about her patient. She oftentimes simply just says what she needs to say, repeats a lot of stuff from past appointments and leaves. You can tell she is only doing this for the money. I am leaving this disappointed review not only for my parent but for other older Koreans patients who have been mistreated this way and aren’t able to leave reviews.

Ji Yon Hwang, she is rude and no patience to the customers. The service is poor. She looks like a business man not a doctor. Big mouth. Find another doctor.

You will have a fantastic experience if you go here. I had my first laser treatment at this spa. I was nervous about the procedure until I met So Young (my doctor) all of my worries melted away. She is lovely. She is honest, patient, and is as sincere as she can be. She cares about her work and she cares about her patients. As for the procedure itself, my 1x1 laser tattoo removal wasn’t painful (and So Young consistently made sure I was comfortable and explained to me how the machines work). I would describe the sensation as a rubber band shooting my skin. She is also very precise with the laser. She definitely knows what she is doing. As for the rest of the staff, they are all very attentive. The staff stays on top of things, they are genuinely helpful and kind. All around I had a great experience.

I’ve been coming to this clinic for a year now, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. Every single person takes great care of their patients and pays close attention to their needs. Especially So Young, who is both professional and incredibly kind. I’m very satisfied because they offer the skincare and health treatments I want. If any of my friends are interested, this would be the first clinic I recommend. As long as I don’t move far away, I plan to continue coming here for my care.

I got full face invasive c02 fractional laser. I thought it would be more painful but it isn't at all. As comparison, full body wax hurts 10 times more than this.

The staff was super friendly and did a great job.

I will be doing more sessions as I don't think 1 is enough. But it's only been 5 days and I'm still peeling. It Is itchy tho😅 but itching is healing so it's a good sign.

I really enjoyed my experience in the clinic, everyone was very attentive and welcoming. The esthetician explained everything, she was very patient and kind. I will come back for sure!

I had a wonderful experience at the Ashburn office where I had a a Hollywood carbon toning performed. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. My consultation with PA Sky was comfortable and relaxed. I came away feeling very confident with their recommended services. The actual procedure was not painful and within of week I felt that my skin was smoother and softer. I have plans to visit again soon. Thank you again!!

Dr. Whang-ki is a great doctor. She takes time to help with my health issues. Her staffs are very kind and responsive. I highly recommend her to anyone!!!

I am very pleased with Dr Hwang. Although I am with Dr Lee who is at the same office where I get excellent care. Not everyone will agree with me about Dr Hwang but I know she knows my body better than me. She is truly the best internist that I ever known.

Dr. JiYon is a smart woman, excellent medical doctor with well prepare, suitable employees that provide all services related to general and preventive medicine. My respects.

This review is long overdue and I’m not sure why she has such a high rating. Very rude and impatient doctor, she doesn’t care much about her patients. My grandparents were patients of this “Doctor” and she ignored issues days leading up to my grandfather’s death. He was also left with an untreated gout for an entire decade—Hwangki (I refuse to call her a Dr) suggested that he drink Gatorade to treat his swollen ankles. I strongly believe she dismisses your fears and doesn’t refer you to someone else for testing— and hope that nothing is seriously wrong . She also misdiagnosed my grandma and prescribed her the wrong medication. She also overprescribes medicine for her patients— most Koreans want to be given what they think is best for them and she pleases her patients by offering this service. Please stay away from her. I do hope she's investigated by the medical board.

Dr. Hwang-ki has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable and professional, yet friendly and caring. I am very thankful to have Dr. Whang-ki in my life.

What a doctor she is!!.
She tells you what your problems are by listening your symptoms....what a witch doctor.
No need to see specialist until your cancer develops stage 4.
One of best Korean doctor to pass on.
She has a nurse preactioner who does her jobs, it appears that she is retired and collects Dinero.
Nurse practitioner is not a doctor, but he does better job than her...haha
