Bruce the Bug Guy presents educational programs designed for a variety of audiences in different settings; from Bug Birthday Parties and small class-size groups to large events such as Science or Environmental Fairs. A typical program for K-5 audiences is a 45-50 minute presentation to 30 students or less. This program features a dynamic blend of Show 'n Tell, storytelling, interesting facts and fun hands-on activities, including LIVE critters from the arthropod zoo.
Other program options include hands-on buggy crafts, games, balloon tying or even a Bug Safari. Bug Safaris are a popular activity from mid-June through mid-September. To be successful, suitable collecting habitats and favorable weather are a must.
