Our storage unit has been broken into THREE times now. The first time was before Christmas - our lock was cut and we lost expensive sentimental items. We had insurance - we thought it would be okay. After filing a police report, we were then told there was insufficient evidence by the insurance company through Storage Mart, stating there was not enough evidence that we were robbed. We cut our losses and continued renting this unit. 2 months ago - our lock was cut again. Yes, we made sure to get a secure lock this time. Although nothing was stolen this time, our unit was a mess and there was blood in our unit. Storage Mart gave us a lock and that was all. LAST WEEK - my husband went to our unit to measure a few of our items only to find out we were robbed again. Our unit this time is completely trashed. My brand-new vanity is broken, they ripped through all of my daughter's birthday cards and our wedding cards. We honestly don't know what else if wrecked or stolen. Cops have gotten involved, and they found the person but we have been told that code locks or cameras will not be installed because it will increase the rent, yet they raise the rent almost every 2 months! and that the wifi won't reach that far for a camera. We feel so violated and like our stuff is not safe there no more. This is 2 weeks before our move in date to our new home. I honestly cannot wait to move our things out of there.
If you want a place that is secure, StorageMart on Maxwell is not the place. Please, please go somewhere else where you know your items will be taken care. Where there are cameras and secure locks and where you know their insurance company will take of you! We are absolutely devastated with this situation.

Last month our indoor storage unit along with every indoor unit got broken into. Every unit was ransacked with belongings thrown everywhere. The thieves had lots of time to do all the damage and break every lock. This place lacks of any kind of security for this to happen.
You were awesome. Sam was very polite and accomodating. I like that she did understand that not every one is tech wizard. Especially seniors who want to sign everything by pen and paper.
Sam was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I have used other storage companies within the city. I 110% recommend getting a storage unit at storage Mart over any other facility.
The staff were knowledgeable and polite and rectified a billing issue promptly and courteously. The storage unit is large and access is secure and simple.
Sam was very pleasant and quick to help. She answered all my questions! I feel safe leaving my items at this storage facility!
This help@storagemart.com doesn’t let me send anything google says there’s a problem with that email, you want to send an email that works?? This is ridiculous. How are you guys are lowballing me $3500 when there was $22,000 missing send a new email address where I can send you an email so you have the opportunity to make this right!!!
Storage Mart does not want to pay for the stolen property that was taken from my unit $22,000 worth and now I have to get legal council to fight this in court, the lack of security and the gaps in the fence in the compound is just terrible there is no wonder why it keeps getting hit!!!! I will note that the girls at work at both locations are very nice and care about their jobs. However, they are severely understaffed. Storage Mart what are you going to do to make this right? Because $3500 that you offered me does not cut it. And that help@storageMart.com email address you gave me the last time does not work.
The ladies at work at storage Mart at both locations are very nice and knowledgable. But that’s not the issue. My issue is is the security is severely lacking at both locations. My storage unit got robbed while it was double locked.over $22,000 went missing in property out of my unit and now storage Mart is offering me $3500. It is a complete joke. Storage Mart as a company doesn’t care about you or me or anyone there is only three cameras at the front entrance of this location. There is no alarm system, and the gate can be easily disabled. Are you not recommend this storage facility to anybody that has any property that’s worth any money. Here’s a picture of my unit being ransacked. OK StorageMart what are you gonna do to make this right??? Because your insurance department isn’t an adequate!!!!!
Stored my belongings here for less than 6 months thinking it's a safe and secure facility. Over the holidays my unit was broken into and robbed. The storage company and police are doing nothing to find out what happened. I had my baby pictures all my belonging inside that unit and they took everything they could carry. Find a better storage company with cameras and more secure facilities.

Property is secure, units maintained and clean. I had originally rented at a discounted price. But during my rental term my credit card expired and I simply forgot to phone and update. A couple months went by and I (my own fault) had not noticed charges not being placed. I went to access unit and access was denied. No property manager on-site at that location at the time so despite activating payment again I could not access unit. I had no call record, voice mail or email noting payment issue. Despite records on their end of contact being made. So unfortunately price went up. Also received misinformation regarding vacancy notice. Was told I could just phone when moved out and payment will be cancelled. But when I arrived and saw paperwork in storage uniy it noted 15 days written notice required. Manager was kind enough to waive 15 days notice and accept my notice. Overall good experience just a couple communication problems. I would utilize their service again and just pay more attention to these things on my end.
