Our business has in the past often used unskilled temps to supplement labour on an as needed basis.
Although to be fair, these temps are often from the lower
spectrum of society and not exclusive to any one agency, a
rating would be inappropriate and nonindicative.
However, according to the views of full time employees, a
majority of these elements complicate the work process with
uncooperativeness or simply disappear for extended periods
after a break. You may note with amusement that these practices have garnered the temp from 'Handy Man' or 'Labour Ready' the nickname "oxymoron" among employees indicating that they are falsely labeled handy or willing to perform any labour however light. Although exceptions persist.
