Grandview Dental Clinic

My family & I have been going to Grandview dental in Oshawa for a couple of years now. My kids & I have all been happy with the services. Kayla the hygienist is very personable & leaves our mouths feeling so clean!

I’ve been going to Grandview for about 4 years. The office is fantastic all around. The receptionists are so welcoming and polite always asking me how I am….how was your weekend, how was day, etc. amazing receptionists.

Kayla is the hygienist I see for my cleanings. She’s always gentle and does a great job with my cleanings.

I have a minor fear of needles which Dr Swati is aware of. The last time I had a filling done, Dr Swati took extra time explaining everything to me and she really helped me with my needle anxiety. She was so calm and patient. Dr Swati is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Dr Swati and her office to anyone.

Been going here for more than 2 years. Dr Swati and Hamza have always been extremely helpful explaining things patiently and being as gentle as possible during cleaning and procedures. Would recommend this clinic for all your dental needs.

Almost 5 star until I was surprised with the amount I have to pay because they did not run the "Pre assessment". It can be my fault as well but please don't assume everyone has good coverage and not alot of people have $800+ to pay out of their pockets.

Specially everything is expensive now.

Update: The Owner was trying to contact me but I did not respond back as I already paid that $800+

Damage is done I am sorry and not coming back here. They should have run that pre-assessment so I could have postponed and reschedule it for next year where my insurance will cover partial of the work.

Lesson for me and their clinic:
- Check your insurance coverage if the work is going to get covered.
- Clinic please run a "pre-assessment" before doing the work so your clients/patients will not be surprise on how much was not covered under their insurance.

Hopefully they will run the "pre-assessment" for everyone so they will not end up like me paying that much!

It is always the best experience. They are well trained and extremely caring. I will definitely recommend this dental clinic and especially Hamza who was extremely great in service and very caring.

Hamza did a great job with my teeth cleaning. He is extremely gentle and careful since I have sensitive gums.

All of the staff are very friendly and Hamza is especially great with young kids!

Hamza at Grandview Dental is the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. I was super nervous prior to going to him because I haven’t been to a dentist in over a decade due to not having benefits. His calm demeanour has put my nerves fully at ease. Not only has my experiences with him been incredible, but he also provided my 3 year old daughter with her first ever dental appointment which was exceptional. She was also nervous prior to the appointment and she can’t wait to go back because of Hamza. Would 100% recommend Grandview Dental and Hamza to anyone.

Really friendly staff and amazing service. Dr. Arthi Shankar very caring and compassionate with all her patients.

We switched to Grandview dental about a year ago. They have been great! They actually care about their patients and suggest preventative methods before an issue arises.

My experience at Grandview Dental has been amazing! Such welcoming & friendly staff. Dr. Ajwani is professional, caring, wants the best for her clients and made me feel very comfortable with the procedure she was doing. The work she has done on my teeth is incredible. She's completely fixed my smile and now I love to smile :)

I was a new patient when I arrived and now there is NO other dental office I would even think of going to. My first call, I spoke to Ashley who made me feel SO comfortable, answered all and more of my many questions. She was honest, straight forward and her compassion for my new venture with dentures had me knowing I was in the best hands! She was incredible in reducing my high anxiety, fear of dentists and the pain. I can't say enough about her wealth of knowledge, ability to truly CARE for me as her patient and ensuring I received the BEST outcome for me. She is definitely an ASSET and vital part of your dental experience.

Meeting and discussing my needs with Dr. Swati the first time, I truly felt she was concerned with giving me the best treatment options, and she certainly exceeded my expectations! I came home and was without pain during my recovery...WOW I say....that's never been my experience with a dentist prior. Her exceptional care and skill in providing me a new smile will forever be one of my happiest memories! :)

Huge thank you to Grandview Dental for making this process such a happy and successful experience for me....I now can't stop smiling!! :)
