In the Cooler was created to help change the demographics and bring awareness to urban communities by showing how exciting and rewarding fishing can be. Football, baseball, and basketball aka the Big 3, we all know, but fishing is an underutilized sport in most communities. Not only is Fishing is a 90+ billion dollar per year industry, but it also can provide scholarships for college through High School fishing teams. This sport doesn't always produce, so when the fish aren’t biting we find something else to do that's exciting, whether it's hiking on trails home and abroad, camping, or attending festivals, “In the Cooler” will always have an adventure in store for you. I aspire to create a nonprofit organization by giving an experience showing the beauty and benefits of this sport. My goal is to connect and celebrate the lifestyle of fishing while making a positive impact one cast at a time.
