Geyser Whitewater Expeditions

Eric Becker founded Geyser Whitewater on the banks of the Gallatin River nearly 3 decades ago. Humble beginnings, Eric and his business partner slept in their office/shack with a gun to fend off the unsavory folks who frequented the bar next door in the old days :) Since then, Eric has followed his passion for whitewater around the world. Having guided professionally on 22 rivers and paddled over a hundred other rivers in 13 different countries, Eric loves this stuff! In that time, the Becker's, Eric and Shannon, have also been founding members of several charitable organizations focused on helping enrich and support the lives of children and the environment. Shannon has been the local special education teacher in Big Sky for 15 years and prefers the Scenic Floats on the Gallatin River :) Riley Becker, their daughter, is one of the top ranked skiers in the country and can often be found helping out around the shop. She is definitely an adventure seeker. If you see her, ask her about her recent accomplishment of being one of the youngest American females to successfully climb the Matterhorn.
