My intense passion for Real Estate comes from my upbringing, which is based on values that my parents instilled in me. My father taught me to always love what I was doing. Because of this, I have always put a lot of thought into what I wanted to pursue since I would be a reflection of that company and that I would put all of my passion into whomever I was serving. With that being said, helping buyers and sellers is a true passion for me. While empathizing with clients, I am at the same time a true professional who will guide them with logic, knowledge, and experience through the process of buying or selling a home. Prior to real estate, I was an educator. I received my BS in Education in English and my Master's in Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I taught high school English for 16 years and then taught for Lindenwood's Accelerated Program for Working Adults for 6 years. I am happily married and have a grown son, both of whom are in the IT field and both served in the United States Marine Corps. They make every moment of my life more special, and they inspire me on a daily basis. I wouldn't be who or where I am today without my parents, my husband, and my son.
