Dr. Elizabeth Higgins is originally from Upstate New York and completed her medical degree at Upstate Medical Center. After completing a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics, she joined the Albany Medical Center where she practiced primary care. She came to MUSC after completing a fellowship in palliative care at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her interests include providing patient centered care and symptom management especially at the end of life.
