Jereme and Carlin were born and raised right here in Canmore, AB. Like all locals, they have been exploring the Bow Valley back country since childhood and so, it comes as no surprise that they have both chosen to live the majority of their lives outdoors! This of course is a trait they come by honestly -the love of nature and adventure runs in the family after all! Their late grandfather, Robert "Bob" Mickelson was one of the original rangers for Alberta Parks for 20 years instilling in his family adeep rooted respect for the land and all who call it home. In 1983, Jereme and Carlin's parents, Charlie and Connie Arsenault created Snowy Owl Sled Dog Tours, the very first sled dog touring company in the Bow Valley. Together, they blazed the trail forsled dog touring in the area and now, Jereme and Carlin share ownership of Snowy Owl and operate it with their families! Over 3 decades of immense success in sled dog tourism mixed with their love of the back country is what has shaped the White Wolf experience. An understanding of the land and respect for all those who use it, Jereme and Carlin are looking forward to bringing the same high quality experience found in their sled dog tours to their rafting adventures.
