Camecca Designs on Woolwich in Guelph hs been the absolute worst customer service experience ive ever had. I brought my bridesmaids to Cathy back in February of this year (My wedding isnt until January 13 2018) but I wanted to get a head start on the dresses as 2 of my bridesmaids are in BC and I didnt want to leave it until the last minute when I would be stressed dealing with other things. That plan didnt work out and I am now left with 2 months until my wedding with no dress for my 4th bridesmaid Cathy cancelled/rescheduled/changed/delayed every meeting myself or one of my bridesmaids has booked with her over the last 9 months! She rushed to make my 3rd bridesmaids dress and did it in 24 hours even though shes had everything since February and just kept putting it off, obviously there were mistakes and now my bridesmaid has to go elsewhere to have those mistakes fixed. We have had such a terrible experience with her that my fiance got involved and offered to call her as I was so upset. After multiple issues/mistakes/cancellations etc. he told her we deserved the 4th dress for free after all the hell she has put me through. Cathy declined this and I refuse to give her any more money or trust her abilities to make a proper dress at this point. Therefore I am now 2 months before my wedding with one bridesmaid who does not have a dress to wear. This is the exact thing I was trying to avoid by going in early. The amount of stress this woman has added to my life is incredible, she has completely ruined a time that was supposed to be fun and enjoyable with my bridesmaids. I absolutely hate the dresses at this point and get angry whenever I see them. I hate that I will be standing there on my wedding day watching my best friends and family go down the aisle and be reminded of this awful experience. It is your decision where you go for your alterations/to have you dresses made etc. But I recommend taking my experience into consideration before choosing Camecca Designs.
