I start with the milling process then rip and rough out the length. After that the joints are laid out and cut with many of the dovetails done by hand as well as mortises. Drawers are then made and usually have solid wood bottoms at least a half inch thick. Dyes or stains are then applied and the finish is completed. You then have a hand made piece of furniture signed, sealed and ready for use as your own heirloom.
