Emilio Gutierrez MD

Emilio F. Gutierrez, MD, heads his practice in Austin, Texas, as a family medicine doctor. Affiliated with the American Society for Laser, Medicine, and Surgery, Dr. Gutierrez is skilled and knowledgeable in a wide range of medical services, from mental health to laser skin treatment. Dr. Gutierrez earned his bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982. Four years later, he received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical School, located in Houston.  After he received his degree, Dr. Gutierrez stayed in Texas to complete his residency. Between 1987 and 1990, he trained in family medicine at the University of Texas/Memorial Southwest Hospital, also in Houston. From 1990 to 1999, Dr. Gutierrez served as the founding medical partner at the Central Texas Family Medical Practice. Today, he doubles as a sub-investigator of clinical research and the president, owner, and head of his medical practice. An accomplished physician, Dr. Gutierrez has earned memberships with the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, and the aforementioned American Society for Laser, Medicine, and Surgery.
