NU-CO Plus Inc, Saint-Laurent Reviews (1)
On Oct. 18, 2006 Abe Katz, owner of Nu-Co installed brand new windows in the second floor of my home at 46, rue de Shediac in Kirkland. Since then, 3 of the 9 windows have leaked. There is now rust in several locations of the flashing that he installed around the window because he used steel nails instead of aluminum ones.
Getting his company to repair the problems that they have caused is nearly impossible.
On Thursday, November 22, 2007 we had freezing rain and we noticed water on the floor in my son's bedroom. We removed the gyproc around the window and the temp test was soaking wet all around the window. I called Abe Katz at (514) 620-1335 (this is his home phone number) and asked him to come and see the damage and repair it. He said that he would come on Friday or Saturday. After not showing up either day I called him Sunday morning, November 25th and asked him where he was. He said he was busy and that he would come by on Monday, November 26th. After he didn't show up again on Monday I filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Office and he came on Tuesday, November 27 to assess the damage. He said he would send someone to repair the damage but I haven't seen anyone yet.
This guy is a thief and I recommend that you run from him and his company the minute you see them. They provide lousy renovation work and they will not accept any liability for shoddy workmanship.
