Intro to welding in 1975. Within six months, certified with Stick and Alum Mig welding. Primary work related to retrofit military heavy lift equipment and refurbish Air Force crash/rescue fire trucks. By the second year, certified in Mig hard wire and flux core welding. Work involved the fit up and fabrication of heavy earth moving equipment, along with road paving equipment. Certified TIG welding completes the spectrum of welding potential for light gauge material, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum. Work experience spans building erection, bridge fabrication, gates, handrails. Projects initiated from start-up to completion or corrections are done while in progress as required by engineer specs.
