With over 15 years in practice as a board-certified podiatrist, Jennifer Tauber, DPM, is a trusted practitioner. Dr. Tauber, a Connecticut native, proudly welcomes patients to her practice, New Canaan Podiatry in New Canaan, Connecticut. After completing her Bachelor of Science in biology at Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York, Dr. Tauber was accepted into graduate school. She earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. Dr. Tauber went on to complete her internship, followed by her podiatric medical residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York. She’s currently board certified in diabetic wound care and diabetic shoes through the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. To ensure she’s always up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and treatment solutions, Dr. Tauber maintains several professional memberships. She’s a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association, and the Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society, among others. Away from the office, Dr. Tauber sits on the board of directors for the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Tauber is also affiliated with Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. While Dr. Tauber has special interests in diabetic foot care and chronic foot and ankle conditions, she also offers a wide variety of treatments and aesthetic solutions. She provides extracorporeal pulse activation technology (EPAT) treatments, as well as Multiwave Locked System (MLS®) laser therapy for patients suffering from soft tissue injuries and inflammation. Dr. Tauber has extensive training with the Fotona laser, which she has on-site.
