Elrod & Elrod traces its history to 1966 when Robert W. Elrod, Sr. became a lawyer and later moved back to his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, He was joined in the firm by his son, Robert W. Elrod, Jr. in 1999. Together, they built a thriving law practice that represents clients in cases involving divorce and family law, bankruptcy and other areas in and around the Jacksonville, Florida metropolitan area and throughout northeast Florida. While Robert W. Elrod, Sr. passed away in 2017 after 50 years of serving as a lawyer, the firm continues to represent people throughout northeast Florida including Baker, Bradford, Citrus, Clay, Columbia, Duval, Flagler, Hamilton, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St.Johns, Sumter, Suwannee, and Union counties.
