Maria Leach | First United Mortgage Group

Maria Leach is a Senior Mortgage Consultant for First United Bank. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a long background in real estate—having served on a top producing team for 6 years before moving to mortgage. Her focus and commitment to her clients consistently keeps her as one of the top producing loan officers for First United Bank. She has won numerous awards such as Outstanding Loan Officer in 2004 and Loan Officer with the Greatest Volume Improvement in 2006. She quickly became a member in the "Top Producer’s Club" from 2007-2012 with her previous employer and in 2013, Maria was honored with the "President’s Club" status her first year with First United Bank. Since her first year in mortgage winning, Outstanding Loan officer in 2004, she continues to remain a leader in her industry. She is consistently honored with First United Bank’s highest award of “Chairman’s Circle, “ and has been the recipient of Texas Monthly’s Five Star Award for 2015, 2016, and 2017,and one of D Magazines “Best Mortgage Professionals” in 2016. Maria has been married to Ed for 18 years, and has a son Tristan (15), currently a Freshman at Parish Episcopal. She has two step son’s, Derrick serving in the Airforce, Dustin, living in Dallas, her step-daughter Shelby, and 3 grand-daughters! When she’s not helping clients with their mortgage needs, she and Tristan enjoy volunteering together, and especially spending time with family on the boat. She published her first children’s story “George Can and You Can Too,” in 2015, based on her experiences volunteering at Jonathan’s Place. She and her team will never be too busy for you or your friends and family.
