Amazing service by Chichi the property manager. Helpful, friendly quick. Thanks for taking care of our storage needs. Lovely facility and customer service is top notch. Would recommend.

It took 45 minutes for paperwork, etc to rent a small locker for 3 months. The paperwork requried is shocking and has to be done by hand and then also done on a computer. What is the point of that! Your 'deals' only last for a single day as well. Ridiculous. After this experience I will not be renewing my lease.

I experienced quick, professional interactions from their staff. The unit was easy to access, clean and as described. The unit was secure with nothing missing for the 18 months we had it. They had locks for sale which are harder to tamper with as well as boxes. I found the hours of access convenient and the gate access easy to properly open using my unique pin number. I would recommend this storage facility. It seems worth the drive from Hamilton!

I recently rented a storage unit from Public Storage (Millgrove/Waterdown) and wasn't expecting it to be as easy and pleasant as it was!

My first contact was with a professional and truly lovely person name Gigi. For all of you people who hire customer service staff, you should be looking for a person like her! Kind, patient, and knowledgeable. And professional! She offered me different choices and explained each one succinctly and carefully. WOW!

Next, I arrived at the Storage Location to be met by Chichi and she was fabulous. Again, she answered questions with a smile. I was shown the unit - which was spotless - and took possession of the unit that day. Also, a new hire was there that day learning the ropes from Chichi. A shout out to Jenn; I think you'll like working there!

Satisfied? Absolutely. I wish that I could give them an extra star!

We have been storing our trailer at this location since 2012. Under the previous owners, the storage facility was well maintained, security was good, and the prices were affordable. We had a good spot along the fence where we parked our travel trailer.

Public Storage took this facility over, and that is where it started to go downhill.

• They removed access for security cards
• They shortened the hours we could access the facility, and if you were not out by a certain time, you would be locked in even if you had the security code
• Our trailer was broken into 4 times since Public Storage took over
• Each time our trailer was broken into, we paid for the damage to be fixed without complaints
• coincidentally, after each break-in, the rental rate went up at the storage facility, with claims of "better security and cameras" (which we never saw)

The rates have more than doubled since we have been there, with all of those rate increases coming under the Public Storage ownership, and all within the last 5 years.

Our final rate increase happened a couple of months ago, at which point we had enough and started to look elsewhere. We found MANY other storage facilities that fit our needs, at much more affordable rates.

We left this weekend after over 12 years of being loyal customers. Sad what this place has turned into. We could no longer trust that our trailer would be safe and secure, and the rates did not justify the lack of security. From a long standing customer of their storage facility, we cannot recommend this establishment.

I will say that the manager that closed our contract this past weekend was very nice and courteous.

Excellent customer service! Units are nice and clean. Employees are professional and super helpful as well as informative.

avoid this place at ALL costs if you value your belongings. they WILL get stolen, and this company will do nothing and try and blame you for it.

im fairly certain some of their employees enable the thefts as well. my friend and her husband had their belongings stolen right out of their storage locker. there was thousands of dollars worth of belongings gone. the door was relocked BY the thief, and the public storage sticker that goes on every unit was placed as well. how does any of this make sense??? there are other storage units ive used in the past where! when you try to break in to a unit THE ALARM GOES OFF, and staff KNOWS whats happening and what unit is being broken into. they also check the cameras to visually see the thief. so tell me why the public storage staff stood there and said they "cant do anything and had no way of telling when the thief came or what occured." INCOMPETENT staff. so they admit they dont have working cameras or working security gates? and then i see the company replying to negative reviews saying "you can tell we are committed to good customer service as evidenced by our other good reviews."

if you value your own safety and belongings, find another place to put them.

A friend of mine used your service and had a terrible experience. She stored some of her belongings with you and ended up losing everything. To make matters worse, your employees are unresponsive. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Your staff or storage department should take responsibility for such issues. It's disappointing that no effort has been made to help her recover her belongings.

pathetic service in terms of security, one of my known one had there stuff stolen from there unit, the person who busted the lock had put there lock instead and there was a sticker of public storage on it that was alarming and after raising the concern to the employees, there were concerned more about "as if this was a normal thing" and client should buy insurances, regardless of its a major major negligence from there side. BOGUS marketing "Top notch security" 24*7 camera monitoring etc, do not recommend giving them business.

A friend of mine had a very concerning experience at this Public Storage location, which has raised serious questions about its security measures. When he went to access his unit, he found a different lock with a Public Storage sticker on it. After reporting this to staff, maintenance cut the lock, only to reveal that some of his belongings had been stolen.

The staff seemed more focused on avoiding liability than addressing how such a breach could occur, especially in a facility that claims to have controlled access and security cameras. This lack of accountability and inadequate security is alarming and needs urgent attention.

recently I had a terrible experience with this public storage
facility, and I feel compelled to warn others. My friend's belongings were stored here, and unfortunately, several items went missing. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to realize that in a secure facility, theft can happen so easily.
Despite the claims of security measures like cameras and on-site personnel, our items were taken without any explanation. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive when we reported it, offering no real solutions or accountability. If you value your things and expect any kind of real protection, I would highly advise against using this storage place. It’s simply not worth the risk.
Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Great place to store your items for short or long periods. Clean location and secure with an automatic code gate and cameras. Staff here is very friendly and helpful, especially Tim who notified me as soon as a parking spot in the main lot became available! Thanks again

Just bought 10*10 storage unit from here, staff is really helpful specially coddey, he help me a lot, very supportive. Gave me good discount. Definitely will recommend.

MOLD, LEAKS!!!!
Have been in this unit for 3 years and previously wrote a 5 star but this storage is just terrible. Our whole right side of unit has mold everywhere that is on all of our items. There was a leak a year ago that they have said that they would fix and I just see duct tape at the hole which looks like it still leaks during heavy rain. There is a hole that looks like some type of critter is coming in and out of storage unit. We had two units one that is paved and one they gave us in back not paved that has massive puddles of water in front of unit that when getting out of car you sink into and have to wear rain boots. Prices have gone up every year. It took them over two weeks to fix the washroom. Overall just terrible experience. All of our stuff on the unit of full of mold and completely destroyed and also moist because of the way they “ fixed the leak”. Had to throw out majority of stuff on the side that was near the leak

Needed storage solutions for my end of year trailer closing and contacted public storage. They were super quick to get back to me and help me with all my needs. Once arriving at public storage I was greeted by Tim who was super professional and knowledgeable. He showed us the unit we requested and answered all the questions we had! After reviewing the unit we decided it was bigger than what we needed and Tim compensated us immediately! I also felt very comfortable and safe having my things in the facility. I would 10 out of 10 recommend public storage and would recommend talking to Tim

Went to this place to rent a short term storage space for humanitarian aid goods going to Zimbabwe. From the get go, i experienced nothing but the best from Cody.
He knows his job. Was able to recommend the right product. Was very efficient and quick in setting me up. Clearly, it was evident that he loves his job. Something i dont see often these days.
And the topping was indeed the special promo that made it sweet deal.

Such a good experience honestly. Guys at the front desk are amazing. Price was right. The hours are great. It helped me with multiple things on my move day. I felt like my stuff was safe. That's really all I could ask for, thank you!

Public Storage Safari rd. is the best storage facility we've ever dealt with. Cody and Chi Chi are fantastic and always go above and beyond to make things quick and easy for us. They are the best!

Tim at Public Storage, Millgrove, was so kind and helpful! I found the prices here to be very reasonable, and nearly half the cost of similar companies. The sign-up process was easy, and the unit was clean and ready to go when I arrived. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great friendly staff, facility is well maintained and secure. We are using this Public Storage to store our 25ft RV in an outdoor spot when not in use. Plenty of room to back our RV into it's spot. There is a washroom available for customers, always clean and well maintained.
