Who We Are
GO KIDS' GYM·MONDAY, JANUARY 21, 2019
Go! Kid’s Gym was founded in 2014 by Traci Cadwallader, a former teacher. She wanted to open a place for fun and learning, a place where kids can be kids. “That’s kind of what we’re all about,” she told the Omaha World Herald in April of 2014. Later while selling the business she took to Facebook to say “When I opened Go! Kids' Gym…I knew that I wanted it to be a safe, fun environment where kids could come to play, learn, explore, and grow. It has become that and so, so much more!”
The torch was passed to Trisha Baker in April of 2018 and she has continued with the tradition of providing educational events with The Omaha Police Department and Wildlife encounters, while also finding time to schedule visits from Princesses like Anna and Elsa and Superheroes like Wonder Woman and Captain America. Trisha upholds that kids need a place to get exercise and run off energy, but also have fun just being who they are and learning to relate to each other in healthy and meaningful ways. “Our focus is on fun!” She told KETV “ Plus they don’t even realize they are exercising because they’re just having fun!” Not to mention parents need a break too when kids start to climb the walls!
