Maplehern Cooking School

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Maplehern Cooking School with Leeann and her mother. Everything was very informative and delicious. Will definitely go back again.

I discovered Maplehern after a visit to Chez Laurent and returning my plate as clean as it had come out of the dishwasher ... I didn't leave a crumb because it was so delicious. After raving about it to the waiter, he informed me that the owners had a cooking class nearby and I could sign up for them. I have since attended three of the classes and my family is eternally thankful. I've learned wonderful techniques, regularly use a variety of all the recipes, and can't wait to take more classes this winter/spring. I would not hesitate to recommend them very highly. It is truly fun, hands on, and informative.

Very much enjoyed the cooking class with Leanne recently. Learned excellent tips and tricks on the dishes we prepared. In fact, I have made the soup and sauce recipes recently and bonus is I can freeze both to enjoy during the coming winter. I highly recommend their cooking class.

If you love to cook you should not miss this. Class size if 6-8 allows everyone to participate, this is not watch the chef cook type of class, you get real hands on experience. Have you ever been to Chez Laurent on Yonge St just north of Sheppard, well if not you don't know what you are missing. Been a customer for 18 years, and have attended almost every class offered at Maplehern taught by the Chef of Chez Laurent. No fail recipies, have a dinner party and your guests will be thrilled. I still go to the restaurant 3-4 times a month as it is nice to be pampered but now I can cook what they server that is so tastey at home....don't miss out, and a great way to meet new friends, male and female!!!

We have enjoyed several visits with Leanne and her mom at the cooking school. We always receive great cooking tips for use back at home, enjoy as little or as much participation in the cooking process as we are comfortable with and while savouring the delicious meal, enjoy the company or new people.
