In 1976, Dr. Newmark completed a fellowship at Columbia’s Neurology Institute. He completed his medical education with a fellowship at the National Institute of Health, where he specialized in epilepsy. Dr. Newmark is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurologists and a member of the Epilepsy Foundation of America.
