I have just written Amazon an e-mail to never ship my orders again with Purolator. I have a ten year relationship with Amazon and this is the first time they have used them. They claim they can't find my address forcing me to come pick up which means driving thru a congested tunnel fifteen miles away to pick up a 10 dollar book!! They do not provide a local number to call which has one speaking to a voice on the other side of the country. And now I see a local number here right beside me. Not the efficiency of Amazon I am used to. I am with the rest of these reviews. These people need to change their profession or profess their mission differently.
Not happy! I was home when they said they made an attempt to deliver. Now have to ask a friend to drive me to airport to pick it up because I am without a car. Received last Amazon stuff via Fedex and something else via Canada Post. This is by far the most inconvenient.
The deliver person didn't leave a delivery note at my door after the 1st and 2nd attempt of delivery. I will never know my parcel is arrived in Vancouver until I track the parcel online. I think they should call the receiver or leave a note at the door to notice the receiver. Bad shipping carrier ever.
Missed 2/3 deliveries, did not leave a note, if I didn't check the tracking myself due to the packages being massively overdue I would've have realized one of the packages went back to the east, and one of them awaits my pick up at the location.
I will never use this company again. I had time sensitive documents to ship and when I called Purolator to arrange pick-up they said Wednesday is plenty of time for the Friday 3 PM delivery. Just to be on the safe side, I had them pick-up on Tuesday. By Thursday afternoon, the tracking indicated, 'delayed in transit". I called Purolator but they couldn't decipher, nor tell me, what that meant or where the package was. They escalated the situation with a promise of a call back. On Friday I get a call indicating that the package is locked in a trailer, and cannot be accessed. There's no way that it'll be delivered on Friday. They promised delivery for Monday, however. By late afternoon on Monday, the package is still not delivered. Miraculously, the tracking has been magically back-dated to show it was out for delivery on Friday at 8:40 AM. Purolator then has the audacity to call me to ask if it's been delivered. I say, of course not, but it's good to know your only method of tracking is to call the shipper (not the receiver) and ask. Anyway, package is still missing and Purolator has no idea where it is, or how to track it.
I come home to find a delivery notice to pickup at the airport.

Worst service ever. Those people should find themselves another occupation.
Why can't they ring the bill when they are delivery the package, even when they are in front of my apartment, and they still return the package to their depot?? And now I have to go all the way across the town to their depot to pick up the package?? That they should not call them a delivery company!
They only make one delivery attempt then you have to go pick it up yourself. Ridiculous.
Absolutely terrible. I paid for overnight service and was delivered two days LATE. Gave me excuses and excuses. Their call center is crap too. Don't do business with these idiots. STAY AWAY. Honestly, Purolator is the WORST company I have ever dealt with.
They are the most useless delivery service known to man. I have NEVER been home when they deliver, they make one attempt and that's it, tough s**t, come drive to the airport and collect it yourself. No one answers the phone when you call, so you have no way of getting an estimate of when they might attempt a delivery. Dell do yourselves a favor, issue a tender for a new courier service and get rid of Purolator.
This service is useless as you cannot reach a live person or even leave a message. if you miss "delivery", you cannot request that they leave it on the porch....
This is the 2nd time in a very short while that an important package has not arrived overnight as planned. Yes, they give a refund but that doesn't help the fact that my package is late. It causes a great deal of extra work and hassle for my staff when this occurs not to mention incredible inconvenience for customers. I can't get any help from the depot where it's sitting because you can't access a live person. The main office can't help unless there's a tracking number and I don't have it because by the time we see the package isn't coming they are closed in Ontario and I have to wait until Monday to get any action. So what should have been a Thur. pick up and Friday delivery ends up being a Monday delivery to an address we are no longer at. Our service is mobile.
