Srinivas S. Iyengar, MD FACS, specializes in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is one of a small number of fellowship-trained ophthalmic plastic surgeons in Southern California. Our referral-based practice is limited to cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital surgery. Dr. Iyengar has successfully performed thousands of eyelid and periocular procedures and has built a reputation for safe, natural-appearing results from functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery. He has also lectured extensively and authored many articles and book chapters on eyelid surgery. In 2016 and 2017, Dr. Iyengar was selected by his physician peers as a "Top Doc" in San Diego Magazine. In addition, he received the Outstanding Volunteer Faculty Award from the UCSD Shiley Eye Institute for his contributions and dedication to the education of ophthalmology residents during the 2016-2017 academic year. Located in sunny Encinitas, our practice serves people from across Southern California and from all walks of life, including entertainers, athletes, lawyers, business executives, and other physicians.
