In 1938, Charles Doerr Sr. opened Doerr Furniture, a wholesale furniture store on Burgundy Street that set a standard for value and customer service. His business philosophy was simple: stock quality merchandise and treat customers with respect. Today that philosophy lives on through his descendants, the Mutter Family.
