Stein Brewing Company is the first inhouse Brewery and Restaurant in Knox County since 1878. We are a fully licensed manufacturing brewery (selling draft beer, spirits and wine 7 days a week), we have a full-service restaurant, taproom, and offer catering. You can also purchase Crowlers (32 ounce sealed here on site cans) and Kegs for your at home enjoyment as well. We at SBC have many great locally brewed beer options, but we certainly do not stop at only beer. Award winning Chef Erin Stevens leads the kitchen and has one of the best menu selections in Knox County. Many local items featured are: Lannings, Twin Oak Farm Beef, and Velvet Ice Cream! We can also service and cater many different events/occasions and cater from 10 to over 1000 plus people! We are in the newly restored Woodward Opera House Building in downtown Mount Vernon.
