Carpenter Housing CO-Operative

I was bullied and harassed and had some of my property stolen & damaged in the 3.5 years I lived there. I had to install security cameras all around my unit just for my own security & safety. They refused to plow the snow or mow the lawns of units of disabled tenants. They held meetings only on the Sabbath and would not change that..it was Hell for me while I lived there. Several people are suing them for different matters. Breach of contract, personal injuries and so on. They have open drug sales within their co-op, known gang activity which resulted in 2015's first murder of the year. There was a drug grow up house within the Co-op and several arson fires. There were rats & mice rampant in and around my unit. The Co-op was the worst place to live in EVER. I would tell anybody who is thinking of renting here to run far & run fast away from this place. It is not a safe place to raise your children. (A man accused of exposing himself to myself & children still lives within the Co-op.)The parking lot was filled with tenants vehicles ileagly parked there & the Co-op refused to have them towed. The Co-op also pushed snow up against the units effectively blocking any cars from parking in visitors parking lots AND allowing rats, raccoons and squirrels to run up the snow bank to chew on the electrical wires of the units.
Worse still was the Co-op has been known to change the locks without legal cause or notification and tenants property seized.
