Kitchen Stuff Plus, Toronto Reviews (1)
I have been shopping at this Kitchen Stuff Plus location for 10 years now. I have spent so much money in there and I have no idea how many points I have although I am a member of their points program.
I went in the other day to find a cool soap dispenser for my Mom and a gift for my boyfriends Mom. I stood in line and when I got to the counter, the sales person had a great positive attitude... he happily asked me if I would like plastic bag or a nice re-usable bag.
I opted for the re-usable bag as I had to do some more shopping across the street at the Yonge and Eglinton Centre. I chose a cool green fabric bag and he added it to my purchase. The price came to 27$ I was a bit shocked as my soap dispenser was supposed to be 7$ and the other thing was 8$. I thought, maybe the pricing was wrong on the display and the gift I bought was more expensive than I thought.. I arrived home to discover that the re-usable bag that I bought was $8.00! I almost passed out! They are 1.00 everywhere else! How can they validate charging that? If they were giving the money to charity, I could understand the 8.00 price point but come on! I was very disappointed!
Although I should point out that there was a sales girl working the floor who was super helpful to a number of customers as well as my self. She saw that I had a handful of items and quicky got me a shopping basket. I think her name was Sunita..anyway.. great customer service!
