West Carleton Meeting Ctr

From our first viewing West Carleton Hall we fell in love with the Venue and outside the venue…. It is breathtaking beauty. The space is flexible and we had it set up to suit us, using a combination of rooms. A big bonus was that we could have our ceremony and reception in one place. We had outside ceremony and it was beautiful and our photos are spectacular! The Hall is set in lovely grounds with plenty of space. Everyone loved the food and it was very reasonably priced compared to many other venues. All of the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive to everyone's needs and provided an excellent service. We would recommend this venue to anyone.

We got married here September 2011. We had our ceremony outside and our reception right afterwards. The site looked gorgeous, both inside and outside, we received tons of compliments on the food, and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this facility to any bride looking for a great location for their ceremony and/or reception!

I got married at West Carleton Wedding Center on July 2011. The Venue is perfect and service was unbelievable.
Our guests were very impressed with the venue. They loved the outside ceremony, the beautiful waterfall and a whole intimacy of the place. They have thoroughly enjoyed the hot canapés that were passed during the cocktail hour as well as punch. The food during the reception was absolutely delicious. The decorated salmon was a star of the evening as many guests thought that it was non-edible beautiful decoration….

I just married this past weekend at the west carleton meeting center.....and it was a disaster!!!! I was extremely excited to get married at this location because it is private and intimate with a beautiful waterfall and outdoor ceremony location. My husband and I met with Lynn and she was fantastic!! Very helpful and enthusiastic I was sure we had made a great choice of venue.....WRONG!!!
I planned for an outdoor evening ceremony but one worker insisted that morning at 8am that it would be inside to bad for us...all we asked is to wait until 2pm to make that decision because our ceremony was at 7pm. This particular woman also gave me a hard time about my wine order...extremely pushy for me to purchase more etc....then ruined the surprise decorating done by my family because she had to know "what decorating would be going on" SO i WAS NOT SURPRISED FOR THAT EITHER!! Thanks.
So turns out that the rain did stop so my father and cousins had to set up all the shairs and whatnot outside because they refused to do it....my father had a foot injury and also had to tear all the chairs down afterward and after the wedding ended up in the hospital for a night because he irrited his injury so much. They also did not close off the area for the girls to get ready as promised and most of my guests saw me in my gown b4 i even walked down the aisle.....
there were some other aggravating factors abit more personal but they really took the "cake" when they sent my cake top and the leftovers wrapped in saran wrap and completely SMUSHED!!!! I got to see it the next morning because no one wanted to tell me so I left my gift opening in tears and all my family went home....when i went to the venue balling with cake in hand the "manager/owner" told me that he could do nothing until monday when he talked to his staff to see if they had done it...basically saying we may have done it ourselves!@!!!! When we got more persistant that he make a phone call and remedy the situation he threatened to call the police and throw us off the property!!!! I will never have my cake top for my anniversary and i didnt even get a piece that night....i am crying as i am writing this right now....those are things and memories they cannot give me back and they ruined my weekend for all the disruptivness....I have not even gotten an apology!!!! :( The only things that salvaged even two stars was that the food was okay (from what im told) I was to upset to eat...and that a server named renata and the gentleman bartending were great serice!!! I warn you all to stay away from this place if you want a stress free wedding!!!
