I tiny little bar in the middle of Toronto's Queen W hipster strip...it's a staple in my social shenanigans

Sweaty Betty’s is part of the new hipster strip which has spread far west on Queen and north on Ossington. You will find this small bar tucked right at that corner (Queen and Ossington) making it a great place to start if you plan to peruse some of the other bars in the area as my friend Lindsay and I did on Friday night.
We soon discovered that they don’t call is sweaty for nothing!! The bar is tiny- which in a way adds to its charm as long as you don’t mind waiting a while for a drink.
We sat on the back patio in dollar store lawn chairs talking, enjoying the fresh air and pausing frequently to go back up to the bar for refills.
Although I had a good time and would definitely go back, there is a little too much hype surrounding this place and it gets a little too crowded.
