Dr. Eckhart graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. In 2008, she received her medical degree from Texas A&M University Health Science Center. In 2009, she completed an internship in Family Medicine at Columbus Regional Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia. She went on to complete an internship/residency in Pediatrics at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, in 2014. Dr. Eckhart is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the AAP Section on Breastfeeding, the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and the Texas Pediatric Society.
