I had my car's transmission replaced at Superior Tire and Auto in June 2014.
Lot of things went wrong:
different fluids leaked after the service; underside of the car damaged; instead of re-manufactured transmission a wrecking yard transmission installed (although the shop denied it and charged a price of re-manufactured one); they used unsuitable transmission fluid which according to supplier's letter addressed to me can damage the transmission; estimate not Consumer Protection Act compliant; invoice not CPA compliant; wrong mileage on invoice to shorten the warranty period; calculation errors to benefit the shop and overcharged amount not returned to me as regulated by CPA; old parts not returned to me as required by CPA.

I demanded the cancellation of the transaction according to Consumer Protection Act. Superior Tire and Auto did not comply.

I had to take legal action and on June 28 2016 the Court ordered Superior Tire and Auto to pay me judgement and costs in the amount of $6240.42 plus interest (with enforcement costs and interest close to $6500 as of today).

In August 2016 the president of the Superior Tire and Auto franchise (who runs the shop at that location) sent me 13 postdated cheques for 13 months $500 each, claiming he has no funds to pay the judgement amount in full.

So the encounter with Superior Tire and Auto will be over within the fourth year after the original transaction date.

Court files in Ontario are public and the file contains a lot of documents supporting my Small Claims Court claim.

David is the Manager. DO NO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I went to his Shop as my car is Covered under _Nation Wide Auto Warranty_. I caught him on my Dash cam calling my Car a piece of Sh*! and Junk, taking my car home, picking up his employee and going to get food. On top of that his shop Scratched my brand new Rim, Also one night coming home from work found my car door unlocked at night outside his shop. After three weeks back and forth my car was still not fixed. I already followed up with Nation Wide Auto Warranty and I will with Superior Tire. No Customer should be treated like this. If you Cherish you car do not Bring it here. I'm never returning here again. Now I have to Pay over $150 to fix my Rim.

Thank you to to the People at _Nation Wide Auto Warranty_ for recommending me to another shop and taking this matter seriously. Its sad shops like this tarnish the great service _Nation Wide Auto Warranty_ has to offer. I will also follow up with CBC Market Place and the Toronto Star.

So...we went there and was told there were 3 things wrong and the cost was over $800.00. When I questioned them ( I am quite auto mechanics savvy...have driven cars for 45 years and helped rebuild 2 engines)... about what they found wrong...suddenly...there was only one thing wrong and guess what...when I pick up the car and paid the $500.00 the problem I brought it in for persisted. Also, they insisted I needed new tires...I said show me what is wrong...They took me to the car bent down and fingered the tires and mumbled something and I said WHAT?... I bought these tires here just last year and the guy from Superior Tire then said..... " Oh, it is ok.....just live with it...just live wiith it ...the tires are fine." All I can say is BEWARE and you can be sure I will not return there....EVER.
