Five Star and their movers went above and beyond moving my mother-in-law. Her move was unexpectedly delayed 3 times due to illness but they managed to reschedule each time. The packing and move was very professional . Highly recommended.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this moving company. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and way less stressful than I expected. The owners are absolutely amazing, you can tell they genuinely care about their clients and the quality of their work.

They were responsive, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled carefully. My furniture was wrapped properly, nothing was damaged, and they worked efficiently without rushing. They even checked in throughout the process to make sure I was comfortable with how everything was being handled.

Hired This company To move some of my mom's Furniture into her retirement home for her. They showed up on time, a bit early actually, at the storage unit. They were friendly and accommodated all that I had asked of them. Toast to Jamie and Kush for their hard work and professionalism. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Dealing with Erica in the office has been more than delightful. She's so very helpful and understanding. Dealing with AISH was a nightmare but Erica was patient and compassionate.

We selected Five Star Seniors Relocators to move my father from one Assisted living facility to another.
Message responses from the owners were quick informative. We met to review the job and to estimate what would be required. The quote was received in a timely manner and was broken down into understandable components. The estimate was reasonable and what we felt was appropriate for the level of the job.
On moving day the team arrived 15 minutes later than scheduled. There was a delivery truck blocking the drive way and the moving team was not able to get their truck into the loading dock. It was requested that they bring up the wardrobe boxes and begin loading them while we waited for the Food truck to finish unloading. The team said they could not do that and would have to wait.
The furniture was not wrapped in blankets as described by the owner. The TV was not packed in a TV box and was damaged in transit. The owner contacted me and informed me of the issue with the TV and that they would go and purchase a new unit of equal quality and size. All the information for the TV was attached to the TV so it was easy to find the correct equivalent. After a few communications a resolution was agreed upon.

It is unfortunate that there was an issue due to the workers taking short cuts which required additional time and trips to resolve.

We are very pleased with how the owners dealt with the issue and are completely satisfied with the end result.

I have used Five Star for two separate moves, our family had a great experience both times! The staff were punctual, friendly, efficient, and careful with all of our things. It poured rain during one of the moves and they ensured they wrapped everything perfectly to avoid any damage from the weather. Overall, we had an excellent experience both times and we will use them again!

My wife and I used Five Star several years ago to help move and downsize my parents from their house to assisted living. They were awesome then. So we called on them again today to move stuff from my recently departed mother-in-laws condo. We had several items going to several different addresses around the city. Sam and Jimmy showed up on time and were very professional. Very pleasant and energetic and had everything moved efficiently and safely to all the different places. They were great and we will definitely be using them again in a few months when we move into this condo. Great job guys.

Exceptional in every way. Living out of town, I needed help to move my mother and Five Star Seniors made it all possible. Incredibly responsive communications, a weekend estimate (!), sensitive and knowledgeable about senior residences & protocol, & quick problem-solving when the rented storage unit was not the right fit plus did not have a lock. And all for a sudden unplanned move with fast last-minute changes & decisions! Calm, pro, and unbeatable.

We have used five star several times over the years and have never been disappointed. The booking process is always pleasant and the movers are always on time and respectful. The donation service is a massive help. They take all the difficult tasks off the clients shoulders. I can't recommend five atar enough.

I was helping a senior move out of her apartment, and I can't say enough about how well this company treated her. She is moving into assisted living, and when the movers arrived at her home she found it very emotionally difficult to decide what she would keep or discard. It eventually became obvious that she couldn't make these decisions, and she asked that the move be cancelled. We called the manager on the phone and, knowing the drivers had likely wasted at least two hours or more, we were expecting a fairly heft penalty. He was very kind and understanding, however. He acknowledged how difficult it is to let go of one's belongings and only charged her a nominal fee for cancelling the move. The mover himself was likewise very empathic and kind, also acknowledging the loss she was going through and reassuring her that he understood. The senior was very sad and regretful for being so indecisive, and I believe it was the company's kindness that helped her cope with these emotions. I'll be recommending Fiver Star Seniors to anyone who is planning to move.

We first used 5 Star to move my Mom & Dad from Ft. Saskatchewan to Calgary in 2014. They were competitively priced, responsive, professional, and efficient. Nothing broken, nothing lost.
We just used them to move my Mom from her seniors residence into storage until her next residence is established. Erica met with me, we talked about logistics, and she provided excellent information about moving my Mom. Again, responsive, professional, respectful, efficient.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for anyone’s needs. Senior or not!
