PetSmart, East York Reviews (4)
Most everyone at this salon seems nice, and into thier work and the dogs. Most of the groomers are ok, but we eventually stuck with taking our three little dogs to Paula ( for almost three years! ), and we've never had a problem. I like that I can see threw the glass at the dogs getting their haircuts. It makes me feel better knowing I can see the proper handling.
I had been taking my 2 dogs to this location since 2005, for grooming services. I had always had exceptional service, but the staff has recently changed, and the last time I took my dogs, I was extremely dissapointed. As every poodle owner knows, they get very matted, and with 2 kids under the age of 3, and a husband who works around the clock, it is not as easy to get them in every 6 weeks! I asked to get thenm shaved, as it was beginning of summer, and the girl at the front told me that it's not the dog's fault they have knots, it's mine! Gee, thanks honey, you think?? That's why I'm here paying you guys!! When I got my review booklet when I left, they had graded me a 4 out of 10!! I'm paying you for a service, for both of my dogs, and you have the gull to grade me?? Where is the evaluation booklet that we the customers can fill out for the staff and grade them? I have since started taking my dogs to the petsmart at 2050 Eglinton instead, and they have been amazing! My dogs and I are happy!
Having a new puppy is great. But having a puppy that can sit, heel, lie down and shake a paw on command is even better. We have had a great experience with dog training at Petsmart. Julian did a terrific job training Mille and making it fun for us owners. We are back for a more advanced level course. Milli is well on her way to impressing friends, neighbours and other dogs across town!

This particular one , not all of the Petsmarts just this one..everytime we have gone in has been smelling and dirty. They are not on top of the cleanup of the dog mistakes. Things are not as well organized as the othe petsmarts we have gone to. A bit disapointing.
