NORTHLAND UTILITIES LTD

Northland Utilities has been lighting up the North for more than half a century. Northland buys power generated by the Northwest Territories Power Corporation (NWTPC), a Crown corporation of the Government of the NWT, and from its substations distributes the power to its customers. The power poles, power lines, insulators, transformers and streetlights you see overhead are owned and maintained by Northland. The company has two operating divisions.
