I've been part of the Addison County community since 2003, when I coached the Middlebury Marlins swim team while attending the University of Vermont. During that time, I discovered how much I enjoyed helping people reach their goals. This led me to nursing school in 2010. After graduating from Duke University, I returned to Middlebury to work in health care as a registered nurse (RN). Wanting to be more involved in patient care, I decided to become a nurse practitioner.I began working as a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) in 2015 after graduating from Georgetown University. I joined the Porter Pediatrics team in 2016 and have since enjoyed building trusting relationships with patients to help them reach their goals.I’m particularly interested in mental health care, including autism evaluations, oral health care, concussions and preventive care. My patients inspire and challenge me every day. Whether it’s celebrating a new developmental milestone or supporting someone in a mental health crisis, I strive to be there every step of the way.Watching patients grow — some of whom now bring their own children to see me — is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, paddleboarding, running, hiking, biking, swimming, yoga, reading and spending time with my husband, daughter and dog.
