This was my first time renting a storage space at Zoom Zoom Storage, and the whole process went very smoothly. Anne was a huge help, her customer service is outstanding. She even offered us three bottles of ice-cold water, knowing we’d be thirsty while moving our things. Such a thoughtful gesture, thank you!

Zoom storage in Thornhill is the best!
I've been using this Thornhill location for offsite storage for a few years now
Formerly I used a storage company very close to me but they were unpredictable with prices and rent increases.
In one year my rent doubled.
The place was always messy. A contract with a moving company meant that my unit was often blocked by trcks during the day.
However, I went back there a year later based on an advertised price. Only to get there and find the price advertised was unavailable, even though there were plenty of spaces that size available.
I asked why the fellow at the desk said there were so many inquiries that they doubled the price. I left a bad review which... oops! Is still up.

I left and I was very discouraged as I searched for other storage sites and found similar issues or prices that were too high.

Without expecting much, I found Zoom Zoom storage on John St and reluctantly visited the office to look at things.
I asked questions about the rent increases, the staff, security etc.
I kept getting satisfactory answers so I took a chance.

This is the best storage company I've ever rented from in the 40 years I've been using such units.
The office staff is always friendly and welcoming. So far everything they promised when we first signed up has remained true.
I may not need this place forever but as long as I do, I'm pleased to do business with Zoom Zoom Storage on John St.

I didn’t give a full 5 stars because I’m not a customer here I was just helping my brother move out however. The place was very clean, they provide dolley’s for moving and I believe it is a controlled climate facility. I’m not sure about their pricing but the location is quite secure with swipe card access to open the gates.

I've been renting a storage space at Zoom Zoom Storage for years, and their excellent service never fails to impress me. The facility is well-maintained and clean. The mangers, Stephanie and Sam, are fantastic. They go above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Highly recommend !!

When I first visited to check out a unit, I was pleasantly surprised by how impeccably clean everything was. The customer service was exceptional— the staff was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. After taking a tour and learning that the facility is fully gated, with each unit individually alarmed for added security, I knew this was the perfect choice. Thanks again!

If I could give 0 for customer service I would disgusting attitude specially from the "lady" and I use that term lightly out front I think her name was Karen. Teach your staff manners!

The old woman working at the front desk today was simply absurd, mean, ridiculous and unreasonable. Can’t image how she became the employee for this storage. As shown in the video, after pressing the * key we couldn't continue inputting the password as usual, so I went to the office to ask what's going on with the gate pin pad. She first treated us like idiots, saying we don’t know how to open the door, then after we showed her the video of the gate not accepting the password, she said because the account is not under our name and she can't open it. BUT! We didn't even ask her to open the gate. All we wanted was a confirmation if there was a problem with the gate. After that, she started yelling at us, asking us to get out of the office. She is like living in her own world and image everything from her illusions and never listen to others. If you also don't want to be treated so rudely, please choose another storage service. We pay for the storage, we don't owe you anything and you shouldn’t use this attitude to your customers.

Oh! Amazing! Stephanie was incredible alway pleasant and always smiling. I’ve never used self storage before she explained everything clearly and effortlessly. I couldn’t have been more surprised with the experience.

Never did rent a unit here but I did have a lengthy discussion with the Assistant manager, Samantha..I even sorta loooked at their kitttty too. Plus Samantha has spellbinding eyes. And she quoted me some of the best prices on storage units ever! especially for a 24x7 facility. She even offered me some excellent cooookies.. Dad's oatmeal coookies. mmm mmm delicious. Overall not being a past or current client of theirs I was thoroughly impressed by the Mark of excellence in their customer service, pricing and upkeep. I would totally rent a unit there if only to drop by every once in a while to pet dat kitttty, make gooooogly eyes at Samantha and steal more coooookies.

I was searching for a storage unit for business purposes after calling several companies I spoke with Stephanie from Zoom Zoom and when I tell you as a business owner who have worked in customer service all my life I was blown away by the level of quality customer service Stephanie provided it’s unbelievable! She has a very warm, loving and welcoming personality. Then I arrived at Zoom zoom storage and the facility is very clean and beautiful. If you are in need of storage for business or personal reasons I highly recommend zoom zoom ask for Stephanie she is AMAZING 🤩

I've always had great experiences with this facility. Very clean and professionally run.

There is an onsite restroom in the main building that is accessible 24hrs a day(and its clean!).
The convenience of having a direct drive up unit can't be beat I loved being able to drive directly to my unit and unload straight into it from the vehicle.
They even have a little seating area in the office which is great if you need to wait for someone. Great security. Wonderful staff. I highly recommend.
