Jean Starr LAC, NCACI A 2014 Honors Graduate from the University of Montana with an Associates of Arts Degree, Jean is licensed in substances abuse counseling. She is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and National Certified Addiction Counselor I. With this degree and certifications she is able to provide treatment for substance use disorders. She is adept at working with lawyers, insurers, courts, and area employers. ASSESSMENT & EVALUATION What is a chemical dependency assessment? Also known as an “evaluation," a chemical dependency assessment is a diagnostic evaluation, performed by a state certified agency, to determine whether a person suffers from an alcohol or drug dependency. The results of the evaluation are then prepared in a written form. They can be done for any of the following reasons or used by any number of establishments.
