Café Descanso is located just past the entrance to the grounds of Descanso Gardens in Pasadena, CA. Our café restaurant offers freshly made breakfast and lunch selections including pastries, fresh salads, sandwiches, homemade cookies, ice cream, and beer and wine. We offer Intelligentsia coffee that is 100% organic, direct trade certified and locally roasted in Southern California. For covered and shaded seating, tables are provided on the adjacent outdoor patio. Cafe Descanso is also a popular wedding venue, and offers full service catering by the Patina Group.
