BAJAR GREENHOUSES

I have dealt with Bajar Nurseries for the past 20 plus years. They not only have the best plants but they are so nice to deal with in person. Mila was the first one I had anything to do with and, though I don't think she runs the business anymore you can always find her around the greenhouse. I still think they are the best. I wish you could donate to our local hospital, Southlake.

I love this nursery. I come back year after year even after moving from King Township to Muskoka. The price is excellent but most importantly the quality of the plants are exceptional. You are going straight from the greenhouse to your car so the plants are really great. Go early as by May 24 alot of selection is on the way out. Still great deals after May 24, but I'm picky. Fabulous selection of impatience, begonia, hanging baskets, etc. In recent years have started lots of great perennials too. I'm on the garden tour and have mostly perennials but I buy annuals here every year for the planters.

I'm biased when it comes to this particular greenhouse. I always make sure to make a trip here whenever I'm in Newmarket. Their specialty are begonias, good for landscaping or as potted plants. Aside from the staple begonia, they also offer seasonal plants as the shamrock, cactus and pointsettas. As growers and wholesalers, they supply retailers such as Wal-Mart, local grocery chains and flower shops.
