Eliza Sangmuah, M.D.

Dr. Sangmuah received her Medical Degree at the University of Ghana Medical School and completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at the Brookdale Hospital & Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. While in Medical School, she published articles addressing the prevalence of substance abuse in Ghanaian Schools and the impact of intestinal parasites on the nutritional status of children in Mobole. She has a strong interest in research, preventive care, and women’s health. She is licensed by the State of North Carolina and Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Sangmuah has a strong interest in research, preventive care, chronic diseases, diabetes, hypertension, lipid disease, endocrine, cardiovascular, and women’s health. She is licensed by the State of NC and Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She enjoys traveling, dancing, reading, and cooking.
